What is Facial Rejuvenation?

PDO Threads Lift is an innovative procedure to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin. Consisting in the use of Polydioxanone which is a potent synthetic fibre that dissolves after certain time in the tissue. Its is a minimal invasive procedure, gentler than Silhouette Soft Lift .

Polydioxanone is a material that has been used in medicine for many years to assist with wound healing. Polydioxanone stimulates the tissue neocollagenesis process which cause the skin produces collagen (the protein responsible for the tension and firmness) in addition it stimulates the fibroblast skin cells to produce elastin (the protein responsible for skin elasticity).

The needle is inserted to the subcutaneous of SMAS layer of the skin, and when the needle taken out, the threads remain, implanted in the skin. Insertion of dozens of needles to the deeper layer of the skin with absorbable threads activates their natural regenerative process and mechanical stimulation of wound healing and tissue contraction.
