What is Sculptra®?
Sculptra® is a product specially developed to help the body to "fill-in" the lines, wrinkles and depressions which develop naturally over the years. Sculptra's active ingredient is a poly-L-lactic acid, which helps to stimulate the body's own production of collagen within the line or wrinkle, making the skin appear smoother and firmer. Sculptra® is a gel-like substance made of poly-L-lactic acid. Dr. Aguilar will inject this filler underneath your skin to provide a fuller or smoother appearance. Poly-L-lactic acid is absorbed into your body during the days following treatment and encourages increased collagen production. Collagen offers support and strength to the skin, creating a more youthful and healthy appearance. Sculptra® is a a discreet approach which allows a gradual effect to occur. Usually 2 or 3 treatments are required and natural-looking effects should become noticeable after approximately 6 weeks. Sculptra® generally lasts between 12-36 months and is commonly used for facial contouring/volumising to increase volume to the cheek and jowl area. All our clinic locations are easily accessible with nearby parking. The main clinic is located in Nottingham city centre, just off Market Square. It is conveniently near a tram stop and on the same street as the closest car park's exit so you can arrive and leave discreetly.
The closest parking is Upper Parliament Street Car Park NG1 6LD. As you leave the car park on foot, follow the signs for Hurts Yard and turn left as you exit, we are second on the left side. If you are coming to us by tram, we recommend using the Royal Centre tram stop. Walk past the cars entrance to Upper Parliament Street Car Park and you'll find a narrow lane with a sign above stating Hurts Yard. We are down here on the left side two buildings down from the blue fencing that is the car park exit.
