How long does botox last after treatment?
In Aesthetic use it depends on the strenght of your muscles and the size of the muscle treated.The stronger and larger the muscle is, the more quickly it will overcome the effect of the botox. The maximum effect of muscle relaxion is about 2 months but effects will continue to be apparent for a period of 3 to 5 months before muscle strength returns.
 
Is Botox a toxin?
It was first discovered when it was produced by bacteria that grew in food that was not well preserved.Since then it has been purified and has a wide range of use in the medical field. The dose used in cosmetic procedures is minute and has no effect on the rest of the body.
 
How long does the procedure take?
Approximately 15 minutes is all the time required for muscle the relaxing procedure. It usually takes from 2 to 7 days for effects to become apparent and up to 7 days to seethe  full effect.
 
What happens when the effect of botox wears off?
Your expression lines will return gradually. If you choose to mantain the effect with muscle relaxants you will require repeat injections 2 to 3 times per year.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Are dermal fillers safe?
There has been increased concern regarding the safety of aesthetic procedures.Dermal fillers are safe in safe hands. It is important to consider a well trained practitioner, clean environment, use of quality fillers and use of advanced techniques to reduce any risk of injection into blood vessels.
 
What are the most common complications from the use of dermal fillers?
Some people can have a reaction to fillers but this is extremely rare. Common minor side effects include bruising , redness and swelling which setle within a few days.



What are dermal fillers?​
Dermal fillers are substances that have been developed and tested for injections into certain areas of skin and tissues for the purpose of cosmetic improvement. They are compatible with the body and can be classified as permanent or temporary fillers. in the latter group the compound is called hyaluronis acid and mimics the same compound in our body, another popular temporary filler is Radiesse. They are used to uplift the mid face, cheek augmentation, lips augmentation, improve the shape of the nose, etc.
 
How long does it take to have fillers and how long does it last?
The procedure takes a short time but if you are having several areas treated, you will require a longer consultation.This is assesed on an individual basis and results are dependent on the area treated. Fillers generally last from 6 to 9 months. A thicker form of filler can last up to 18 months.
